Taegeuk Il Jang - "Part 1 of the Taegeuk". It symolizes Heaven & Light.

  1. Start in Koryo Joon Bi position.

  2. Turn left 90 degrees into backstance; double knifehand body strike.

  3. Step forward 180 degrees to the left into double low-high side kick; land into long stance; right knifehand stike.

  4. Left body punch.

  5. Pivot on the backfoot into right back stance; right body block.

  6. Turn 180 degrees into left double knifehand block in back stance.

  7. Step forward 180 degrees to the right into double low-high side kick; land into long stance; left knifehand stike.

  8. Right body punch.

  9. Pivot on the backfoot into left back stance; left body block.

  10. Turn 90 degrees left into front stance; right lower knife hand attack.

  11. Right open neck strike.

  12. Right front kick into right front stance

  13. Left lower knife hand strike.

  14. Left open neck strike.

  15. Left front kick into left front stance.

  16. Left lower knifehand strike.

  17. Right open neck strike.

  18. Right front kick - Kihap!

  19. Right leg grab; left leg strike.

  20. Pivoit 180 degrees on the left leg to the left front stance; double outside cross block; left fist outside.

  21. Right front kick into right fornt stance.

  22. Left left grab; right leg strike.

  23. Step back into short stance; double outside cross block; right fist outside.

  24. Pivot on right foot back into back stance; right knifehand block.

  25. Turn into horseriding stance; leftpalm; right punch into palm.

  26. Cross step left in front of right into right side kick.

  27. Turn 180 into right front stance; lower front up left knife block/right hand palm up under chin.

  28. Back into right short stance; right lower block.

  29. Step left foot forward into left slap down; right step forward into horseriding stance.

  30. Right elbow with left reinforcing.

  31. Right body knife block

  32. Left palm; right punch into palm as left cross over step.

  33. Rigjt side kick.

  34. Turn 180 into left front stance; lower front up right knife block/left hand palm up under chin.

  35. Back into left short stance; left lower block.

  36. Step right foot forward into right slap down; left step forward into horseriding stance.

  37. Cross step right foot front left elbow strike; support with right open hand.

  38.  Move right foot next to left; 180 degree circle; left fist into right palm at the bottom.
